History

Now in its 26th year, the annual Cleveland Racquet Club Men’s Invitational Doubles Tennis Tournament has grown in stature, prize money and level of competition. It consistently attracts world class tennis pros from every continent and the top collegiate players from across the country.

The Tournament, which will be held on CRC’s outdoor Har-Tru courts in Pepper Pike from Thursday, July 21 through Sunday July 24, 2011, is the largest privately run professional doubles tournament in the Midwest. The schedule of events includes a Kids Clinic and Pro-Am Event on Friday, Player Party, Tournament Raffle, USTA Officials for the semis and finals and a Singles Exhibition.

CRC Members provide housing and ground transportation to the out of town players. Last year, the winning team included Brian Wilson and Chris Haggard of the United States, who defeated NCAA champions from Wake Forest, Cory Parr and his partner Steve Forman.
