Q: How does the CRC Invitational compare with ATP tournaments?
A: The caliber of tennis displayed at the CRC Invitational is world class. Our fields have included former Grand Slam champions and collegiate champions, so the quality of play rivals any ATP event. But what attracts the top players and keeps them coming back is the unrivaled hospitality, recognition and generosity of the club members and sponsors that makes all the players feel welcome and appreciated.
Q: How are players selected for the tournament?
A: As the tournament’s scope, prestige and prize money have expanded, so too has the caliber of players invited to compete. The tournament director invites local amateur champions, previous tournament competitors, ranked collegiate players and both former and active ATP touring pros. Players interested in competing in this year’s tournament can submit their entry online for consideration.
Q: How can I get tickets?
A: The CRC Invitational is not open to the public. Attendance is restricted to club members, sponsors and invited guests.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Matches will be moved indoors, to be played on the 10 indoor hard courts in case of rain. No matter the weather, we’re playing tennis.
Q: How can I become a sponsor?
A: The tournament offers a number of sponsorship opportunities, ranging in price from $500 to $25,000. Interested sponsors should e-mail or call the tournament director at 216-831-2155 ext. 6.
